Job summary

Mid Valley Hospital (MVHC) seeks a dedicated Security Officer to safeguard hospital facilities and clinics. You will patrol property, monitor CCTV, and respond to codes while assisting staff, patients, and visitors with safety concerns.

The role requires high school diploma, valid driver’s license, Life Support certification, and MOAB/IAHSS credentials within 6 months of hire. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; position begins January 1, 2027 and may involve multiple MVHC locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MOAB training within 6 months of hire.
• IAHSS Basic Security certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical presence to maintain a safe environment across MVHC facilities.
• Conduct rounds to identify unauthorized individuals and enforce rules.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate with medical teams as needed.
• Monitor CCTV and access control; assist with emergencies and safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; support department performance improvement.
