Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a dedicated security professional to patrol hospital grounds, respond to emergencies, and enforce access control. You will identify risks, document incidents, and cooperate with leadership to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois driver’s license (ILSOS) required.
• FOID must be obtained within 6 months.
• CPI training within 3 months.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• TASER certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs productive security patrols of hospital, garage and perimeter.
• Recognizes and mitigates conditions compromising security.
• Reports and corrects safety violations encountered during patrols.
• Mitigates thefts, disturbances and other incidents.
• Checks visitor and staff ID badges.
• Notifies supervisor of security issues promptly.
• Follows post orders for all positions.
