Trinity Health, a large health system based in Michigan, seeks a Security Police Officer for the SJMHS-West Market. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, write detailed reports, and arrest within legal parameters to preserve life and property.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preference for an associate degree and Michigan MCOLES license. Valid driver’s license and Tasers certification are expected. Prior security or law enforcement experience is desirable.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of campus security/police, military, or law enforcement preferred.
• Current MCOLES license preferred or ability to pass MCOLES PA330 Academy Training within six months of hire date.
• Maintain a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license.
• Demonstrates proficiency with taser use and annual certification as required.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols and monitors facilities to ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Responds to and documents reports of criminal activity and safety incidents.
• Writes detailed daily activity and incident reports for management.
• Effectively detains or arrests within policy and law and uses appropriate force.
• Maintains security equipment and defibrillator checks; reports hazards.
• Provides customer service and assists patients, staff and visitors as needed.
