Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed to perform unarmed patrols in a hospital setting, monitoring access and CCTV, and reporting observations to ensure safety and security.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and prior customer service or protective service experience; ability to de-escalate, communicate effectively, and follow procedures is essential. On-call & flex shifts available with opportunities for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service or protective services is preferred.
• Able to work in a hospital environment and follow security protocols.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, depending on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or vehicle; document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain when necessary following guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room as needed.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and disasters.
• Sound alarms and contact police or fire department as appropriate.
• Monitor entrances/exits to prevent unauthorized access and contraband.
