Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking Security Officers for Allegheny Health Network Hospital in Natrona Heights. The full-time position offers $17.00 per hour with a 5:00AM-1:00PM shift, up to 40 hours weekly, weekends included.

Officers will support nursing staff, conduct patrols, and ensure safety; uniforms and training are provided, with excellent benefits and career progression. Paid training and weekly pay are highlighted advantages.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Aufgaben

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• Orally and physically de-escalating individuals when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, or inclement weather with calm urgency.
• May escort patients and transport deceased to morgue as needed.
