MercyOne Health System seeks a Security Officer for MercyOne Genesis in the Quad Cities area. You will provide a visible security presence to prevent or detect threats and safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and assets.

This part-time role requires a valid driver’s license, Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 days, and a high school diploma. Schedule includes every Saturday and Sunday, every other Monday day/night shifts, and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 days.
• Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide a physical security presence to prevent or detect conditions that could threaten safety.
• Protect patients, visitors, staff and facility assets.
