Qualifications

• CPR certification (Heartsaver or BLS) within 90 days if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas to maximize security visibility.
• Posts in areas or patrols by vehicle or on foot.
• Controls access and manages visitor/material passes.
• Adheres to hospital policies and post orders at all times.
• Responds to security and emergency situations; assists patients, visitors and staff.
• Completes security reports and maintains equipment logs.
• Ensures safety of patients, staff and visitors within budget and quality standards.
• Supports growth and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Models Memorial Hermann service standards with compassionate, personalized care.
