Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensed as a Commissioned Security Officer by the Texas DPS Private Security Bureau (or must obtain within 90 days).
• Valid driver’s license; if from out of state, must obtain Texas license within 90 days.
• CPR certification (Heartsaver CPR or Heartcode BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and patrols assigned areas to ensure security and safety.
• Controls access and visitor passes; enforces policies and procedures.
• Responds to security and emergency situations; assists patients, visitors and staff.
