Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Security Officer for PRN shifts. Shifts include 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p or 11p-7:30a, with weekends and holidays as applicable.

Under supervision, this role provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and property; conducts patrols, assists with access control, and responds to emergencies with professional conduct and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; post-secondary preferred.
• 1 year of prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products required.
• Strong customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regularly scheduled patrols of hospital buildings and grounds.
• Assist with access control and movement of authorized personnel.
• Document activity in Security Log; prepare incident reports as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and hospital codes.
• Maintain communications with security team and hospital switchboard.
