Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Security Officer PRN to safeguard patients, visitors and staff. The position involves 12-hour shifts, minimum two shifts per pay period, one weekend and one overnight shift per 4-week schedule, plus holiday coverage.

You will monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, conduct safety inspections, assist law enforcement, and prepare incident reports.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous experience in hospital or campus security, law enforcement, corrections or military.
• Must become CPI, Handcuffing and CPR certified within three months of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license free from restrictions and insurable by hospital insurance company.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for patients, visitors and staff and safeguard hospital property.
• Respond to emergencies and codes promptly and effectively.
• Observe unusual or suspicious activity and notify supervisors or police when needed.
• Conduct security, safety, facilities inspections, fire watches and alarm checks.
• Write detailed incident reports and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and testify in court if required.
