Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer in McAllen, TX to help ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors while supporting client needs. The role involves patrols, access control, and public assistance within hospital settings.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. The job requires standing/walking, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. Full-time with benefits and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
