Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer in a full-time capacity to protect patients, staff, and visitors at a hospital facility in Texas. You will project a visible security presence, deter incidents, and support the client and community with safety-focused actions.

Responsibilities include maintaining hospital security, supervising at-risk patients when needed, and performing additional duties as assigned. A background check and drug screen are required after conditional offer.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety of hospital staff, patients, visitors and property while serving as a deterrent to illegal activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
