Job summary

ProMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital seeks a Security Officer to ensure safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring facilities, guiding people, and controlling traffic and parking when necessary.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and Basic Security Officer Certification within six months of employment. An Associate degree in security is preferred. Employment is per diem.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
• Associate degree in security or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Monitor facilities and assist people with directions about where to go.
• Regulate and control traffic and parking when needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents.
• Restrain combative patients as needed.
