Job summary

Highmark Health in Pittsburgh seeks a security professional to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff across AHN hospitals and clinics. The role enforces policies, patrols facilities and grounds, responds to emergencies, and investigates incidents while controlling disputes and removing disruptive individuals when needed.

You will document incidents, provide excellent customer service, and cooperate with authorities as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Criminology preferred.
• 3–5 years of security experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive patrols of AHN property and adjacent areas.
• Respond to emergency situations and de-escalate when required.
• Testify in court and hearings when involved in arrest situations.
• Assist with traffic control when necessary.
• Complete reports and incident documentation as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
