Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer for Allegheny Health Network Hospital in Natrona Heights. This full-time role offers a $17.00 hourly wage with shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Officers may assist nursing staff and escort staff to the morgue as needed.

Paid training, uniforms, and benefits are provided. Applicants must be 21+ for armed roles, or 18+ for unarmed roles, with a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include customer service experience and the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, or hazards.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• De-escalate conflicts verbally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment; monitor access to the facility.
