Allied Universal is Hiring Security Officers at Jefferson Hospital in Clairton, PA. Full-Time - $17.00 / Hour.

7:00AM-3:00PM / 3:00PM-11:00PM Shifts Available - Officer is Scheduled Up to 40 Hours Per Week (Weekends Included in Schedule) Responsibilities include observing for crime, patrolling, de-escalating, inspecting security devices, screening visitors, and responding to emergencies. Applicants must meet age, education, background check, and licensing requirements; a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Background check required by law
• Drug screen required
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions
• Training and certification including Management of Aggressive Behavior after offer

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
• De-escalate verbally and physically when needed
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, or severe weather with calm urgency
• May escort patients, provide safety escort, or transport deceased to morgue
