Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Hospital Security Officer in Natrona Heights, PA for part-time shifts. The role includes patient safety, maintaining a secure healthcare environment, and customer service duties. Training provided; uniforms and equipment supplied.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring devices, screening staff and visitors, and responding to emergencies. Must be 21+ for armed roles; background checks and drug screens apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.
• Post-offer training and MBP certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and stay vigilant for signs of crime, danger, or unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bike, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors and employees for admittance.
• Respond to fires, medical emergencies, threats, or other incidents with calm urgency.
• May assist escorting patients or transport/deceased to morgue when required.
