Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Toledo to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and staff. You will monitor facilities, assist people with directions and manage traffic and parking.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and completion of Basic Security Officer Certification within six months. An Associate degree in security is preferred. Employment offers a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six (6) months of employment.
• Associate degree in security or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities to ensure safety for patients, visitors and staff.
• Regulate and control all traffic and parking; enforce parking rules and manage traffic when needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents to ensure a safe environment.
• Restrain combative patients as needed in accordance with safety procedures.
• Complete required training and keep certifications up to date.
