Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Independence, MO. You will patrol, assist patients and staff, and enforce hospital policies with professional service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Driving license only required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and guests by enforcing security procedures and hospital policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner using site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surroundings.
• Monitor access points and guide patients and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and communicate with site leadership.
