Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors in a healthcare setting. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring access points, handling incidents calmly, and reporting observations per site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
