Job summary

ProMedica Security Officers ensure the overall safety of our patients, visitors, and employees. While monitoring facilities, the officers also help people who have questions about where they should go.

As a part-time Security Officer on the Afternoon shift at Memorial Hospital, you will regulate traffic, enforce parking, investigate incidents, and restrain combative individuals as needed. You will complete required training and stay current with certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license in the state in which you will work and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR in order to be covered under the Company's insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six (6) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities to maintain safety for patients, visitors and staff.
• Regulate and control all traffic and enforce parking.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards and incidents.
• Restrain combative individuals as needed and document actions.
