Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Hospital Access Control in Highlands, NC. You will monitor hospital facilities, patrol areas, and support morgue-related procedures while delivering courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of security-related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in hospital morgue and restrain individuals if needed.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• State/municipal security license preferred.
• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff per security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeters.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction giving.
• Document incidents and security activities per site procedures.
