BridgePointContinuing Care Hospital – National Harborside is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to protect life and property across the hospital campus in Washington, DC. You will patrol, monitor and respond to incidents to maintain a safe healing environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The role offers competitive hourly pay with shift differentials, daily pay access, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DC SPO license within 30 days of hire date.
• BLS within 60 days of hire date.
• Attend SPO training as per 1100 training.
• Previous security experience, hospital security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and losses.
• Protect life and property of persons on hospital premises.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond to incidents in a timely manner.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

Here at BridgePoint, the Security Officer protects life and property of persons on hospital premises. Patrols hospital building(s) and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and other types of losses.

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certification:

• DC Police Department Security License (SPO) is required within 30 days of hire date.

• BLS required within 60 days of hire date.

• Required to attend SPO training in accordance with 1100 training. Appointment General Provision 1100.

Experience:

Previous security experience required. Hospital security experience or prior military experience preferred.
