Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Security Manager to lead a team of over 40 security officers and 2 sergeants, ensuring a safe environment for employees and patients. The role involves designing, implementing and managing security programs, assisting with budgets, and supporting the Security Site Director.

Strong leadership, scheduling, incident documentation, and collaboration with law enforcement are essential in this on-site role at NYP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a manager/supervisor.
• 5+ years’ experience in security or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Executive Protection, Healthcare Investigations and Special Event Security.
• Knowledge of Criminal Investigation and Penal & Civil Law.
• Knowledge of Computers, Fire Safety and Training Skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sergeants and officers in daily activities and scheduling.
• Plans shift activities, post assignments, vacations, holidays and sick time.
• Develops and implements security policies and procedures as contained in manuals.
• Coordinates with local, state, or national agencies for investigations.
• Manages budgets and provides admin support to the Security Site Director.
