Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Hospital Security Officer at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie to safeguard staff, patients, and visitors. The role emphasizes vigilant patrols, de-escalation, and prompt response to incidents.

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate individuals orally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to manage admittance.
• Respond to incidents with calm urgency and coordinate as required.
