Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Unit Clerk/Care Partner to provide direct patient care and administrative support on assigned nursing units. Working under an RN or LPN, you’ll assist patients with daily care and serve as the unit’s communication hub, coordinating information and supporting the healthcare team.

The role requires strong communication, experience in security-related duties, and a commitment to patient safety. Willingness to undergo fingerprinting for a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; security field training helpful.
• One or more years’ experience in institutional security, preferably healthcare.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Guthrie campuses to ensure safety for patients, staff and visitors.
• Respond to requests for assistance from hospital personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality and report incidents to supervisor.
• Assist transporting patients as needed.
• Complete incident reports and pursue continuing education annually.
• Coordinate with local police and fire officials as needed.
• Maintain neat appearance and rotate shifts as required.
