CommonSpirit Health's CHI St. Vincent is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to clean and sanitize patient rooms and hospital areas, using approved methods to protect patients, staff and visitors from infection and hazards.

You will learn proper disposal of biohazard waste, handle cleaning chemicals safely, restock supplies, and support a compassionate, patient-focused environment. Training provided with opportunities to advance in a dedicated hospital setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine cleaning and decluttering to appropriate areas of the hospital - dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Sanitize appropriate areas of the hospital using approved tools and routines with location-specific procedures.
• Restock supplies in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms.
• Learn and follow proper disposal techniques for all medical waste, including biohazard materials.
• Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff.
