Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) seeks an experienced analyst to perform specialized administrative, operational and financial analyses for hospital programs and activities. The role emphasizes revenue cycle reporting, data-driven decision support and detailed ad hoc reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in a hospital setting (patient accounting/ar), advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration or four (4) years of professional level experience in performing administrative, operational or similar analyses and studies.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a hospital environment, specifically Patient Accounting/Accounts Receivable.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience building, creating, and running routine and ad hoc operational reports for departmental management and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated experience reporting on Revenue Cycle KPIs: Hospital Patient Accounts Receivable, Billing and Collections, Third-Party Reimbursements, Denials and Appeals, etc.
• Minimum of two (2) years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
