Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to provide analytical data support for the Business Office and revenue cycle management teams. You will generate performance reports, analyze variances, and coordinate with collection agencies for hospital and physician billing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Data Analytics and 0-2 years of related experience, with Excel and SQL proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Data Analytics preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Experience with Excel and SQL required. SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench, Cubes experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical data support to the Business Office and revenue cycle management teams.
• Generates and distributes performance summary reports to management; analyzes data for variances and trends.
• Manages reconciliation with external agencies and supports related systems and new acquisitions.
• Coordinates between business office and collection agencies to ensure consistent hospital and physician billing processes.
• Implements new workflows with IT, vetting processes and identifying potential risks to outcomes.
• Produces physician financial reports and communicates trends and opportunities to management.
