Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician under supervision to prepare medications for dispensing to patients within the Medical Center and affiliated clinics and staff. The role includes delivering discharge meds and performing technician duties under the Employee Pharmacy Supervisor guidance.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of retail/hospital pharmacy technician experience, be a High School graduate, and be in progress toward MA

Qualifications

• Retail/hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• PHTECT – MA Pharmacy Tech license or trainee status with board exam progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients.
• Deliver discharge medications to bedside or clinic.
• Work under supervision of the Director of Retail Pharmacy to follow policies and procedures.
