Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems seeks a Pharmacy Tech II to assist in the preparation, compounding and dispensing of medications for patients, clinics, and staff. The role requires hospital experience, MA Pharmacy Tech registration, and strong teamwork with pharmacists and nurses.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, operating with limited supervision, and using automation software. Occasional driving for deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of inpatient hospital experience.
• Must be proficient in Hospital Pharmacy Technician duties.
• Must have MA Pharmacy Tech registration (PHARMTECH REG).
• Ability to work independently with supervision.
• Moderate computer skills required for automation software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, mixing, compounding, dispensing and control of medications.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Nurses and other staff to complete tasks.
• Follow hospital policies and SOPs in the department.
• Possibly drive to designated destinations for deliveries occasionally.
