Qualifications

• Two years’ sales experience, preferred in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Meets with potential customers prior to admission to assist in “closing” the sale and obtain patient/family information for the facility to enhance experience.
• Makes sales calls to hospital social workers, case managers, physicians, administrators, home health and hospice agencies, families and other referral sources.
• Demonstrates growth in hospital referrals by increasing overall occupancy and quality mix in assigned building and achieves conversion-rate goals.
• Coordinates work with other departments to ensure we meet patient expectations.
• Develops referrals from hospital discharge planning, emergency and therapy departments, physicians, case managers, insurers, and other sources.
