Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Receiving Coordinator in Supply Chain to manage incoming shipments, stock clinical departments, and coordinate the receiving processes within a hospital environment.

Responsibilities include processing paperwork for receiving, inventory, and purchase orders, as well as distributing supplies to all departments and to off-site facilities. A high school diploma and prior hospital or supply experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate with staff, vendors and others.
• Ability to cope with and remain calm under stress.
• Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels for prolonged periods.
• Ability to respond to telephones and other auditory stimulation.
• Ability to discriminate color.
• Bending and lifting (0-50 lbs), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling (up to 100 pounds) and prolonged standing and/or sitting.
• Basic mathematical computations.

Responsibilities

• Receives shipments from vendors or freight lines.
• Stocks supply lockers and distributes supplies and equipment to all hospital departments.
• Processes and maintains paperwork for receiving, inventory and Corporate purchase orders.
• Coordinates the receiving processes.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Previous hospital or supply experience preferred
