Job summary

Banner Health's Banner University Phoenix campus is seeking a Receiver to support the hospital central supply department. You will check in deliveries, place items, handle returns and PO invoiced items, verify and stage deliveries, including temperature-sensitive items.

Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The role requires warehouse/inventory experience, medical terminology knowledge and a strong customer-service mindset, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reading, writing and mathematical skills required.
• Experience with shipping & receiving and medical supplies preferred.
• Able to maintain records and coordinate inventory control functions.
• Accurate keyboarding ability and knowledge of MMIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming orders and verifies accuracy; documents discrepancies.
• Audits orders for accuracy, storage, temperature and damage; prepares documents.
• Distributes orders to departments in a timely manner.
• Prepares outgoing material for shipping and accompanies with necessary paperwork.
• Enters returns and substitutions into the materials management system.
• Works independently under supervision to meet internal supply needs.
