Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Full Time Radiology Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure safety and ALARA principles, and document imaging in the EMR.

Responsibilities include obtaining optimal images, explaining procedures to patients, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and nurses to coordinate care. ARRT certification and Kansas licensure are required, along with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT certification required and active licensure or eligible in Kansas.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures per physician orders.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions before exams.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently following established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the interpreting physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor patient condition during imaging and respond to needs.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and infection prevention protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout every interaction.
