Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Director of Quality to oversee daily operations and lead quality, safety, and regulatory programs across hospitals. You will coordinate departments, direct performance improvement, and drive cost efficiency and patient outcomes.

You will develop budgets, lead risk management, and collaborate with medical staff and leadership to reach organizational quality goals. Strong Lean experience and nursing/clinical leadership are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as stated in the ad.
• Five years hospital operations with a focus in quality improvement.
• Three years leadership experience.
• Master’s degree and RN licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, patient and employee safety, infection control, regulatory, policy management, risk and privacy.
• Lead continuous improvement and performance initiatives across departments.
• Direct budget development and monitor fiscal objectives for quality programs.
• Recruit and develop leadership for quality and safety goals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field
