Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an Estimator to participate in the estimating and design of proprietary pneumatic tube system installations for hospitals. You will create efficient system layouts, prepare material take-offs and total job cost estimates, and assist in sales presentations.

Responsibilities include site surveys, reviewing project documents, providing drawings and engineering reports, and coordinating with Project Managers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating material and labor costs with relevant experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and provide system layouts.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and CAD drafting basics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate material and labor costs and prepare total job costs.
• Perform site surveys to determine scope and verify system design.
• Create drawings and engineering reports for sales proposals.
• Support sales presentations and handoff to Project Management.
• Monitor pricing models and proposals for alignment with bid plans.
