Job summary

Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Plumber to maintain and repair hospital plumbing systems across the campus, including backflow testing and kitchen equipment. This is a full-time on-site role with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating on-call duties.

Five years of Carpentry/Mechanical experience or an equivalent education/experience are required. Relocation to Grand Junction may be necessary; travel to other departments is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of Carpentry/Mechanical experience
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs plumbing systems across the hospital and ancillary facilities.
• Installs valves, controls, gauges, switches and plumbing systems meeting codes; assists with refrigeration components and testing.
• Performs PM on plumbing equipment and ensures Joint Commission compliance.
• Assists with construction including installation of piping and equipment during renovations; follows infection control requirements.
• Cross-trains in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and grounds.
