Job summary

Sharp HealthCare seeks an experienced facilities operations leader to plan, direct, and supervise hospital plant activities. You will oversee maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems and support accreditation readiness, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a senior certification, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate large teams across shifts. On-site facility in San Diego with weekend coverage expectations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5 Years experience in plant operations in a hospital setting.
• Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles -REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, clean working environment with unit safety and infection control.
• Supervises day-to-day activities and staff; conducts annual evaluations.
• Maintains records to ensure compliance with state, federal and Joint Commission regulations.
• Oversees maintenance of plant and equipment within the hospital.
• Coordinates and assigns work orders for efficient resources deployment.
• Establishes preventive maintenance schedules and safety training.
