Sharp Tri-City Medical Center seeks a Plant Operations Supervisor for the STCMC Tri-City Medical Center Main Campus. Day shift, full-time, responsible for planning, directing, and supervising hospital plant operations and mechanical/electrical systems.

The role supports accreditation readiness, safety, and reliability, with duties ranging from preventive maintenance scheduling to coordinating work orders and supervising staff. CA driver’s license required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of hospital plant operations experience.
• CA Driver's License required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safe, clean, infection-control compliant environment.
• Supervise day-to-day staff; conduct evaluations and counseling.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission.
• Oversee maintenance of plant and equipment within the hospital.
• Coordinate and assign work orders for efficient resources.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and safety training.
• Inspect facilities and approve equipment/supply orders.
• Coordinate with other departments and step in for Engineering as needed.
