Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an experienced Director of Plant Operations and Environmental Services to lead facility operations, maintenance, and safety programs. The role focuses on quality patient care support, regulatory compliance, and efficient, reliable service delivery.

You will manage budgets, guide environmental services, life-safety compliance, and vendor relationships while fostering a safe, clean, and compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Community electrical maintenance license if required.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification desired.
• Minimum of five years of related experience required.
• Hospital maintenance experience required.
• Must be familiar with JACHO, NFPA, & OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security per PAM Health policies and budget.
• Inspect and maintain facility and equipment to meet Life Safety Codes and interim Life Safety Code.
