Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to manage the physical plant, ancillary systems, engineering, and safety within a hospital environment. This role acts as the primary liaison between the medical center and contracted vendors performing facilities-related work.

The position requires basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing skills, and safety management experience, with a preference for candidates having hospital experience and knowledge of hospital codes.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous material and safety management experience required.
• Management experience necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems, Engineering, and Safety.
• Acts as liaison between Medical Center and contracted personnel/vendors performing Facilities related work.
• Presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public.
