Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in a busy hospital setting. You will restock Pyxis units, verify medication integrity, deliver orders, and manage packaging and traceable records.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma, with 1 year hospital pharmacy or sterile compounding experience preferred, and state certification or permit as required by licensing boards. Travel is not a regular requirement in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year sterile compounding preferred.
• 1 year hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech in Training Permit - State Licensing Board required.
• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board required.
• PTCB Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required.

Responsibilities

• Restocking and checking Pyxis machines and nursing units, including onsite and offsite units.
• Verify integrity of medications in Pyxis machines/floor stock areas.
• Make routine deliveries of filled medication orders and pick up new orders to be filled.
• Package and maintain records of medications not prepackaged.
• Assist as a "second check" in the accuracy of the order entry process.
• Prepare and deliver intravenous piggyback admixtures.
