Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support IV preparation, labeling, and dispensing in a high-volume environment. You will work with ParX Pyxis systems, verify medication accuracy, and assist in stock management.

The role requires completing the IV technique module and maintaining competency, with eligibility for NJ Board registration within 6 months. The position is full-time, on-site, with a 40-hour work week, and a comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic IV technique and aseptic preparation.
• Ability to use ParX and QS1 systems accurately.
• Good math and computer skills for medication labeling and inventory.
• Current NJ Board of Pharmacy registration or ability to acquire within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete IV sterile technique module and maintain competency.
• Ensure accurate labeling and dispensing of medications to patients.
• Operate Pyxis system and manage medication inventories and expirations.
• Assist in stocking, ordering, and documentation per hospital policy.
