Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and delivery under supervision in a hospital setting. You will follow established procedures and stay in compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires Maryland pharmacy technician registration (or intern) and may prefer hospital or retail experience. The position is on-site with opportunities to contribute to patient safety and drug-use optimization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy experience in hospital or retail setting preferred.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy; in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Distributes, prepares, compounds and checks medications under supervision, following department procedures.
• Delivers medications to appropriate locations and monitors storage conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Follows policies for controlled substances and completes related audits and paperwork.
• Answers phones and med messages professionally and communicates with patients and healthcare team.
• Supports inventory management and generates reports from the hospital information system; minimizes drug waste.
