Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time 40 hours per week to support preparation and distribution of medications. You will stock deliveries, label and package medications, and deliver to care areas and off-site locations, collaborating with the pharmacy team.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED; no experience is required. Licensure as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (or trainee) is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock deliveries of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Prepare, package, and label medications prior to dispensing.
• Deliver medications to care areas within the hospital and to off-site locations.
• Manage pharmacy inventory using inventory management systems and monitor expirations.
• Respond to product recalls and maintain cleanliness of procedures.
• Assist with clerical duties such as answering calls and maintaining supplies.
