Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician credentialing and state requirements are required.
• High school graduation or GED is required.
• Certification through ECPT and PTCB is required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Process prescriptions and enter patient information accurately.
• Count, pour and label medications and manage inventory.
• Assist patients and answer questions within scope.
• Communicate with prescribers and maintain a safe environment.
• Record waste and reconcile narcotics with anesthesia as needed.
• Handle phone inquiries and triage order status.
