Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care. The role includes technical and clerical duties in a hospital pharmacy, assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and patient interactions.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, Texas Pharmacy registration, and relevant experience; ACPE IV certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Three (3) years of pharmacy experience preferred, hospital experience favored.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Select prescribed medications and deliver to patient care areas.
• Stock and monitor drug inventory; maintain supplies.
• Prepare sterile products and IV solutions as applicable.
• Assist with medication history and liaise with nursing staff.
• Document and review patient billing related to medications.
• Ensure compliance with safety checks and standards.
