Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 1-2 years hospital-related experience desired or trained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pharmaceutical preparations under pharmacist guidance using pharmacy software and hardware.
• Execute medication distribution and receive/stock pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare medications in unit dose packaging.
• Fill code carts and emergency kits as needed.
• Maintain unit dose rooms and ensure inventory control.
• Respond to requests from health care providers and maintain confidentiality.
