Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 500 hours as a pharmacy technician trainee in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications and preparing IV admixtures.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory in the pharmacy.
• Operate and restock automated dispensing systems (Pyxis).
• Process charges in the pharmacy computer system and ensure proper labeling.
• Support pharmaceutical sales reps and manage sample medications as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory documentation.
